History

KITE HELLAS was founded in 1991 by Stratos Tsakalos.
His career in the pharmaceutical industry started as General Manager of SMITHKLINE & FRENCH S.A the American multinationalpharmaceutical company.
Stratos Tsakalos continued his career as Chief Financial Officer at ROCHE HELLAS the Swiss multinational for two years, when the merger of SMITHKLINE and BEECHAM pharmaceutical companies took place.

Next stop in his career was PFIZER Hellas S.A, as Pharmaceuticals Manager.
Stratos Tsakalos is currently the Honorary President of KITE Hellas, member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Pharmaceuticals & Specialties (S.A.F.E.E) and an alternate member of the Ministry of Commerce Honor Committee.

However, due to the continuous growth, the Company moved in July 1999 to the newly purchased premises on Ionias Avenue. This move also doubled the Headquarters’space. In addition, a branch has been opened in Thesaloniki, Northern Greece,at 4 Macedonias Str.

Stratos Tsakalos is a member of the Board Directors of the HellenicAssociation of Pharmaceutical Companies (SFEE) and alternate member at the Pricing Committee of the Ministry of Commerce.

Today, in the year 2022, KITE’s reserve fund is € 600.000,00.
